2 more days till Scentsy heaven !!!!! Tuesday is the "Official" Scentsy day..... tuesday is the first...first day to order for the new season....first day to order my Scentsy kit.....first...first...first...Firsts are sometimes scary and exciting...just depends but theres a first for everything and tuesdays mine YEAh!!!!!!!.....I can't wait to see all the new collections....I hear in the Fall/Winter Collection RED CHILI MASALA and SPICED GRAPEFRUIT are the scents that wow!!!! In Bakery its the CUPCAKE CUTIE and RASPBERRY DANISH that "takes the cake" heheee....personally I love Raspberry anything so I cant wait to smell those......A new collection is Men's....and HEMINGWAY is the "way" to go...so I hear........a girlfriend of mine says "everyman should smell this good!!" Another one I cant wait to smell is from the Scentsy Cafe....RED BERRY TEA and GREEN TEA SMOOTHIE oh'my.....that just sounds delicious!!!!! I love the green tea frap's from Starbucks so right up my alley ........Gosh there are sooo many new scents I just cant wait to share them all with you...I know you will love this product...It is a guarantee not only from me but from Scentsy.....

FLIRTATIOUS & FRENCH KISS

Here they are my Romance samples.....Ok so far I have three all time favorites......

CAMU CAMU.....SANGIRA....and...FLIRTATIOUS...I know the list will get longer but for now those are the top three !!!!! I like clean fruity smells.... crisp but not harsh..... fruity but not too sweet.....I want people to say Gee your house smells terrific....I dont want to hear...you have a dog or cat or baby or teens right....!!!!!! I only want nice yummy smells....a sweet baby after a bath is great...dirty diaper not so much....a handsome teen clean from the shower ...great...one that just got home from practice and is to tired to take a shower..uhhhh no thank you !!!! A funny younger teen with good smelling hair products....check...one thats been jumping on the trampoline with Paige for hours.....yikes!!!! A dog thats been running around playing in the dirt yuck...catbox YUcky...........so a great smelling house.... pretty decorative warmers...no worry about an open flame and the cat knocking it over... or the other room smelling nice but not the room Im in because of Jack...now my whole house can smell great collectively....I heart Scentsy :-)

The picture of the "egggrate" is what a Scentsy bar looks like it is 6 cubes which will melt with scent for 50-80 hours!!! In one....How awesome is that... The two jars ae my "scents" those are what I have for you to smell...remember my stars are just samples to keep you smelling all day long...the jars are what are used at parties or.... their are smaller ones too for Basket parties And a final post for all you non-smokers no more having to buy lighters for your candles..do you ever wonder if people think you smoke?????? OR you can put the BBQ lighter away hahahahaa

Feeling FLIRTATIOUS

Wow-za... I just made two more sample scents and one is definitely going to be in my house on a regular basis...my new bestest friend FLIRTATIOUS...It smells like Lancome Pleasures.....I love love love good perfume and that is one of my all time favorite scents...I wore it for years....then I smelled it on my MIL one day...and that was it I couldn't wear it anymore I would think of her and not me and well I like to think of me hahaa....New scent started wearing DKNY Delicious BTW.....Ok so my other sample scent is
FRENCH KISS the one David said reminded him of woman....Its pretty good a little strong...not bad strong good strong but a little strong nonetheless....Ok Ill post pictures tomorrow Im missing another favorite of mine "Ruby" on the style network love that show!!!!!

Well its been brought to my attention by a dear friend.... Hi Marilyn !!!!! that I am prone to not making "scents" hahahaha....I want to take this opportunity to explain what it is Im doing.....
Scentsy is a company that produces wickless aromatic candles melted in decorative warmers...The wax melts with a small bulb instead of a traditional wick and flame....These are warmers that sit (in my opinion) as functional pieces of art in your home regular and medium sizes...tons of designs and shapes now even DIY ones....so cool real fun for kids to design.... and then there are ones similar to "Glade" plug ins but way safer absolutely beautiful...you wont be trying to hide it..and many more scents to choose from 80 in a complete collection.....I love this idea and since I have had the chance to use it personally...im hooked. I am a Distributor now.... or Independent Consultant...I like Distributor better...sounds more professional to me.... I will never buy candles again...These are just better....Ok I hope that clears up what it is that im doing...I know it looks like candy Im using candy molds and talk about how good it smells.....and if you know me... there is a Good chance you think Im talking about food...heeheeheeheehee.On September 1st I will be ordering my Fall/Winter kit and I will post pictures of my goodies...I also have an order pending and I'll post that to..just to show ya all what the heck Im talking about...Due to Scentsy policy I may not use their images on my "personal" site until it is approved...as of right now it is not approved...so I'll post my own pictures of products just as soon as I can...Thanks to everyone reading and following me...Im excited to do this.... having a blog is fun and these products rock !!!!!

Well I have finished another 2 scents and im gonna throw them in !!!!! BAKED APPLE PIE and SUGAR COOKIE.....I dont think Bakery is my favorite selection....I do understand however how having your house smell like cookies would appeal to some people...Not me ...I'd then go buy cookies...it smells that good and real so......proably not the best idea here...It's hard enough with David's stash of sugar stuff up on the way high third cabinet...yep I know all about it :-0 So I have 10 of my 80 sample scents done...My plastic candy mold is trashed and I threw it away sooo for now my sample making days are numbered.....6 to be exact..6 more days until I get to order my kit.....whoohoo

EARLY

Ugh.....I hate the fact that im a night person and have a baby that wakes up early.....I know sooomeee people reading this might look at the time and say 7:30...guurrll you are lucky....I'am...My son goes to bed at 7:00pm every nite and for the most part 99.9% of the time sleeps right on thru the nite and wakes up at 7:30 like clockwork...Heres the bummer...I dont go to bed until late I should go earlier but its like I come alive at nite....I made two sets of samples last nite...bagged and labeled them....Well time for coffee and scrambled eggs.... yuck not for me coffee mine.... eggs Jack...

Well I made more....its like an obsession now....lol so I made BLACK RASPBERRY VANILLA now a favorite and by mistake I made CRANBERRY SPICE....oh'well it did get one out of 4 votes....so after getting back on track with making my research tested scents I made SUNKISSED CITRUS and let me tell you...it smells like starburst candy...it is sooo good. I finished the set of "Favorites" with PERFECTLY POMEGRANATE...another good one. My house smells so good. These Scentsy products are wonderful.....and if I forget (na never) to blow out a candle my house wont burn down....so yay for me...Im getting stuff done and preparing for the upcoming season of Scentsy....

ONE MORE THING

I forgot to mention how CLEAN BREEZE was one of Brandon's favorites because he loves the smell of freshly laundered clothes however Brooke says it just smells "to clean" for me....Huh...I would of though it would of been the other way around....This stuff is great for stinky kid rooms....and bathrooms....Or if you are in a small apartment Wow this would make your whole home smell yummy and clean.....love it !!!!!

Ok the winners are.....dundadadun...In our Scentsy favorite section we have 4 they are:

BLACK RASPBERRY VANILLA........PERFECTLY POMEGRANATE.......SWEET PEA & VANILLA and SUNKISSED CITRUS..... In our Fall Winter collection the two chosen are COZY FIRESIDE and SNOWBERRY.......delicious...Next up Bakery we have BAKED APPLE PIE and SUGAR COOKIE...congrats!!!! In the Romance department FLIRTATIOUS and FRENCH KISS took top honors...ooolalala...The Spa series samples are THUNDERSTORM and WHITE TEA & CACTUS...Last but not least our Tropical winners....sorry David :-( no coconut lemongrass...but we have CRANBERRY MANGO (a personal fav) and CUCUMBER LIME... Well there it is my next project more samples more melting more molds......and Im going to try a mix-match .......half LUCKY IN LOVE and half OCEAN will make LOVE WAVES....maybe a silly name Love shouldn't make waves...get it hahaha...I want to thank my Brookie-cookie for helping me set up for Brandon's turn...she got a kick out of it..found different scents she likes and swears I never let her smell those ones !!!!! What a girl....

So I have enlisted David and the kids in my "sample" campaign....I have a list...uh-oh watch out me and my lists...right Andee hahahaha anyway as soon as Brooke is done with her room and homework she can help....Here is the way the afternoon will go..trust me I know !!!! Brooke is your room done? ya it's done...ME let me check...this isn't clean theres stuff stuffed under your bed...I thought you already did laundry..onandon.....It's weird how a kid can take an hour to "clean" everyday and everyday they need to "clean" for an hour....Her room should be spotless... but its not and thats ok...plus I digress..back to my point..as soon as she is done she can pick her favorites and when Brandon gets home from practice he can pick his...Oh BTW ditto the room conversation....Then after I clean my star shaped mold ( i know i need a new one) Im trying it at least one more time Im going to make some more samples!!!!....I can't wait to get my kit.....Im going to mix scents too and make all new ones for samples...Sample silly thats me or sample stupor we'll see....David was smelling the options I put out and he smells FRENCH KISS and goes Whoa.....smells it again chuckles and says that smells like a woman...not any particular one just a woman in general...LOL he's funny...I smelled it I dont agree...isn't that weird it will be interesting to find the favorites from these three and then average them....Math yikes.....I'll let you know how it goes.............................Ok skip forward to Brookes room almost done..... homework finished and me being a little super excited to do this....so I "saved" her from her room and had her smell the different options for samples....so far BLACK RASPBERRY VANILLA and SNOWBERRY are huge hits in this house...so is BAKED APPLE PIE and CUCUMBER LIME!!!!! I see a theme do you? I just looked at the two samples Jack has and one is PUMPKIN ROLL....Wow thats us..... if it smells like food..its all good!!!!! Lol

Yeh you are looking at that right.....My first set of samples looked so pretty and I really didn't make a mess....and then I got cocky hahahaha...So this is THUNDERSTORM and VANILLA CREME...and they both smell good Brooke likes the blue and Brandon likes the VANILLA CREME...go figure...My kitchen still smells good though maybe making a mess isnt thaaaat bad? Not sure David would agree...So here is last nites adventure..Im getting better at using the microwave to melt my scents...Time to get a new mold though...my $1.49 plastic one is pretty trashed now and I dont want to mix my scents...not yet that is for another day!!!!

Gosh Laurens parents have the most gorgeous pool !!!! Sofias party was fun and relaxing.....she is such a sweet smart baby girl......Ok so back to my scentsy samples....I waited until towards the end when we needed to leave to strike up goodbye conversations and hand out my little stars !!!!! Huge hit....Ashley my BIL's girlfriend absolutely loved loved loved CAMU CAMU and she will be one of my first orders Yay!!!!! My SIL Carrie liked WELCOME HOME better...weird hu? One is real sweet one is sorta cinnamony spicy....Goes to show you different smells appeal to different people..They effect us differently and bring back memories that flood the brain....sometimes though just the scent itself no memories attached is all we need to lift our spirits bring a smile to our face and change the mood of the day !!! Scentsy rocks...Im loving it already and I only have my freecycle kit (thanks Marianne)...mine will be the Fall/Winter so I dont get it until September....can't wait!!!!

I think Im getting the hang of this.....Well its early got my coffee and sitting here at my desk it smells soooo wonderful !!! I looked up CAMU CAMU on line its a fruit...did I already post that? Anyway its related to the guavaberry...no wonder I love it soo much !!!!! Thats the pop remember guava necter in a can? Linda S. would buy it for me as a kid I loved that stuff it tasted so smooth and sweet...that is what the smell is !!!! smooth sweet fizzy poppy on and on......Ok more later...Im taking some of my samples to Sofia bday party today..wish me luck Im gonna be discreet I am at my nieces 1st bday after all......

ok here is my first offical unoffical scentsy project.....

Well I took the first step... my first step....I bought a plastic 12 pack of candy molds star shape of course GO Scentsy !!!!! I melted WELCOME HOME and CAMU CAMUAs I type my bakers dozen of sample star shaped scentys molds are cooling.....Im not a "suzy homemaker" by any stretch of the imagination but something about these smells and the memories that go along with certain scents was just to good to pass up...Plus my stepmom "sponsored" me by buying my kit !!! Yeah Debbie...when's your party???? Ok back to my journey here...First stop this morning after my caffeine jolt and Jack duty me and David went looking for my star shaped candy mold or cookie cutter....These things seem so incredibly random you would think they would be found at the Dollar Tree or the 99 cent store or Pic n Save er' sorry Big Lots.... but no...We even went to the 99 cent PLuS store which had a sign taped to the door "be back at 3:30pm" ...So all morning part of the afternoon we are wasting precious gas.... and all I had was a basket(for samples etc)... a star shaped "ashtray" (as David called it) but nothing....nothing for my molds... a huge headache and a rumbling tummy :-) Finally went to
Jo-Ann's where I should of gone in the first place !!! Ah even had a 40% off coupon.... I found my molds my baggies and a pattern to make my new Autumn Field inspired apron hahaha.... I know your thinking What???? You'll see what I mean I just need to know how to use a pattern.... sew... buy material... ya know the rest of the stuff that goes with "suzy homemaker"
Well off to bag my new 12 scents....Loving CAMU CAMU.... it smells like cantaloupe but not...... tangareiney but with a burst..... I dont know clean and fresh I know like Guava...CAMU CAMU is actually a fruit bush that grown in the Amazon producing cherrylike fruit..... yummy ... and I learned something new whadday know..... well off to tend to my new job got pictures.....as soon as I figure this out I'll post them
